Artistic methods are points of departure. They are not only attitudes and approaches towards how an artistic work comes into existence, they are processes that bring awareness to how one sees the world and how the artist wishes to intervene in it.
The lecture series, by Rosa Barba and Monica Narula at the beginning of every Art Day, focuses especially on approaches that both bring to the question of the artistic process. They speak from their own practice, and also wider artistic practices, so as to reflect on the complexities of the world, and how artists find ways to engage with them.
